The marketing site and the free calculator do not require an account. Calculator inputs run in your browser and are not submitted to us. We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic.

Data we collect in StockMitra

• Account data — email and/or phone for login.
• Business profile — shop name, address, GSTIN, UPI ID.
• Business records — inventory, bills, purchases, payments, khata.
• Customer & supplier details you enter (names, phone numbers).
• Photos you choose to attach; anonymous crash diagnostics.

What we do not do

• We do not sell or rent your data.
• We do not show ads or share data with advertisers.
• We do not read your contacts, SMS, or location.

Third-party services

• Cloud hosting — secure data storage and sync.
• Crash diagnostics — anonymous reports to fix bugs.
• SMS service — one-time login codes.
• Payment processing — subscription payments (card details handled by the processor).
• GST registry — optional GSTIN lookup against the government-authorised database.

Storage & security

Data is stored locally on your device and in our cloud database, protected by row-level security. Data in transit is encrypted with TLS. Payment card details are handled by the payment provider, not by us.

Retention & deletion

Data is kept while your account is active. You can delete your account and all business data any time from Setup → Account → Delete account in the app. Backups expire within 30 days.

Your rights (DPDP Act, 2023)

• Access and export your data (in-app CSV tools).
• Correct inaccurate data (editable in app).
• Erase your data (in-app account deletion).
• Raise a grievance using the contact below.

StockMitra is a business tool, not directed at children under 18.
